Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GospelMaker, the AI Christian teaching and media studio at gospelmaker.com.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Who we are

GospelMaker is an AI-assisted Christian teaching and media studio operated from Lagos, Nigeria, and reachable at support@gospelmaker.com. In these terms, "GospelMaker", "we" and "us" mean the operator of gospelmaker.com; "you" means the account holder. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Credit Policy, the Subscription Terms, the Refund Policy and the AI Disclaimer.

Your account

You need an account to create and save projects. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. You must be old enough to accept these terms in your country, and you confirm the information you give us (email, display name, country, language) is accurate.

Acceptable use

Your use of GospelMaker is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which sets out prohibited content, impersonation rules and enforcement. Please read it — it is part of these terms.

AI-assisted content

GospelMaker uses AI providers to help you write, study and prepare teaching and media content. Every generation is AI-assisted, not human-authored, and may contain mistakes, omissions or theological imprecision.

See our AI Disclaimer for the full detail on Scripture handling and required human review before you preach, teach or publish anything GospelMaker helps you create.

Content ownership

You own the briefs, instructions and edits you write and enter into GospelMaker. Your projects, documents and edits are yours.

Rights in the generated output itself — the AI-produced text, images, audio or video — depend on the terms of the underlying AI model providers used to create it. We do not, and cannot, guarantee unrestricted or exclusive commercial rights to AI-generated output. Where a provider restricts commercial use, resale or specific formats, that restriction still applies to you.

Do not represent GospelMaker output as belonging to, or endorsed by, a person or ministry it does not belong to.

Credits & billing

Generation features are priced in credits, shown to you before you run a job. Full detail on how credits are earned, spent, prioritised and refunded lives in our Credit Policy and Subscription Terms — both are part of these terms by reference.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or that we reasonably believe is abusing the platform (including circumventing credit limits or rate limits). Where practical we will tell you why. You may close your account at any time from Settings; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after deletion.

Liability

GospelMaker is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of AI-generated content, including theological, legal or reputational consequences of content you publish without reviewing it yourself.

Consumer rights & statutory protections

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 in Nigeria and equivalent consumer protection law where you live. Where a limitation in these terms is not permitted by that law, it applies only to the extent the law allows.

International users (UK & EU)

If you use GospelMaker from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you keep the data-protection rights described in our Privacy Policy under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Distance-selling cancellation rights: where UK/EU law gives you a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase, that right ends once generation has started and credits have been consumed, because the service is delivered immediately at your request. Unused credits from an unstarted purchase can be refunded under our Refund Policy.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer resident in the UK or EEA, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@gospelmaker.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly; we aim to respond substantively within 14 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We will update the "last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
